This is a fantastic Colonial era wood drum canteen with wood hoops locked by tongues. Raised bung. Traces of thin old red paint. No carrying strap loops. Condition is very good with small scattered worm holes overall, one hoop is a bit loose but will display perfectly. Measures 8" in diameter by 5" wide. A very nice rare canteen
