William Drummond was born on 5th September 1891. His army trade was a Transport Special (TS), Rank of Driver, and specifically he was a saddler. He lived in Byker Northumberland when he joined up on the 2nd December 1915, having already seen service with the 5th North Territorials. His overseas service started on 30th August 1916 when he
